How does it work?

Boost Efficiency in Your HVAC-R Systems

Air conditioning, heating, and cooling systems (HVAC-R) are essential for comfort and operations, but they often waste energy due to natural inefficiencies. The biggest energy consumer? The compressor — it accounts for up to 70% of the total energy usage in these systems.

For many businesses, HVAC-R systems represent a major cost factor, consuming up to 65% of total energy expenses. That’s where Cold-Plus® comes in.

Cold-Plus® is an innovative treatment that enhances system performance by reducing friction, removing oil fouling, and optimizing thermal transfer. The result: lower energy consumption, reduced carbon emissions, and extended equipment lifespan — without replacing your existing systems.

Cold-Plus optimises compressor operation, reducing operating time and lowering energy costs.

The Treatment

The Cold-Plus treatment is very simple and can be done by an installer or a service technician. Cold-Plus® takes effect after just a few minutes and remains effective throughout the equipment’s service life.

A business case is made on the basis of an inventory. How much Cold-Plus® is required, what are the potential savings. A typical ROI is 12 to 18 months. In addition, Cold-Plus treatment ensures a longer service life for your equipment.

Calculate your savings now

Use the sliders to enter the details of your cooling system and instantly see your potential savings.
The displayed savings are indicative and based on a system approximately 6 years old. Cooling capacity in tons can be calculated by dividing the power in kW by 3.15 (e.g., 40 kW ≈ 12 tons).

EER stands for Energy Efficiency Ratio, which is the cooling capacity divided by the electrical power input. The higher the EER, the more energy-efficient the system. The default EER value in the calculator is set to 2.5. The calculator provides an estimate of the savings for installations up to 40 tons of cooling capacity. For larger, more complex installations, this is determined jointly.
